A few years ago when Valor started with Trail Life I had a good conversation with him in the car about what it means to “pledge,” why most people he will ever meet will say it, and why his father no longer does.
It was a short pregnancy, and because of our history it is not too hard to find our way back to the familiar and beloved signposts of God’s sovereign wisdom, love, and mercy.
