Happy Easter from the House of Gjertsen! We are so thankful for God’s sacrificial gift of His own Son. Every year we live, the hope of resurrection and eternal life gets sweeter.
It’s been a week now since I knew she was gone, and numbness has slid into something like peace.
All aboard! Valor is still in love with cars, trucks, trains, and ta-tas—which isn’t what you think…
We can’t believe it’s been a year and a half since Valor burst into our world, big and wet and hungry with eyes squeezed shut. Now his eyes are always looking, looking, looking as he observes and begins to describe his world.
Tomorrow morning Valor will surpass James’ age when he died. We mark this date with sadness and gratefulness.
