Have you tried discussing physics or a bit of chemistry with him?
No, not yet. But we do try to keep him well-rounded, and sometimes we’ll just read to him whatever we have sitting around. In this case it was a prospectus for Pax World Funds. I love the contrast between Abby’s enthusiasm and Valor’s complete disinterest.
That’s the funniest thing! My parents used to read me magazines and things when I was little because it’s not really what you say…it’s the tone of voice you’re using. ๐
Ha! I am surprised he stayed awake. I’ve got something I think he’ll like better…I’ll mail it out today or tomorrow! ๐
I expect Valor will take after his older brother, James, and prefer being read from something more exciting – like “Quantum Physics and Theology” by Polkinghorne.
“…between equity securities and debt securities!”
Love it.
This is really good. It reminds me of Micah who always looked slightly disapproving of all that we did.
Your close up of Valor catches an expression that looks so much like James. How wonderful!
Thanks for sharing.
I could always send some of my scientific articles about ants, LOL!
Now you’re just starting to make all of us nerds look even crazier than people once thought.
Maybe you should try reading him these funny phrases in Latin. http://web.mit.edu/afs/athena.mit.edu/user/d/r/dryfoo/www/Funny-pages/handy-latin.html
He looks like a teeny, tiny, aloof professor to me!
Too bad Valor didn’t like it, but Amadeus laughed and bounced up and down while listening to it. ๐
HAHA My friend’s baby had that same expression, too. I always thought that he must be thinking “Wow you are a moron” for everything I did XD
I think that Taxes is not something Valor is interested in!
I agree with Grandpa Warren, maybe another subject! ๐
I just looooved Valor’s expression! I imagined him thinking: “Mommy, do you even care about this!?”
Thank you so much for sharing this with us
Love
